I've spent quite a bit of time working on this, hm, cute fellow. AAing was a long and tedious work, but it did come out a bit better then it was before :) I've also tweaked the color palette to add a bit more contrast (and found one color too many, and replaced it with something more useful), and added the top tiles, and eyes in the background. should I remove the old version now?

Thanks for the crits! I originally intended to make a mockup-game screenshot, so I made the ceiling tiles... also, I wanted to keep the colour count at 16, so I could not refine the skeletons as much as the creature-thingie :)
I'll probably work on this one some more in the future... I want to expand the scene, and add some more colours :)

Very nice piece and great creature.

Couple of crits:

The ceiling has very visible tile repetition, which doesn't fit well with the rest of the image I don't think.
Skeletons look very rough and cheap compared to the rest of the image.

It's pretty nice overall, i just don't like that red tougne coming out of his mouth, it looks terrible compared to the rest of the piece. The background also seems quite plain too. It's just blank back there except for the top and bottomm.
