Great idea! It would be cool if each character had a unique walk. Like the zombie shuffles, the cowboy swaggers bowlegged, the astronaut moves really slowly, etc.

I don't think he is supposed to literally be Santa, I think he is supposed to be the same guy dressed as Santa

It would of been cool if you had made him drop off at the end. Also at the start, it would of been nice to see him rise out of the ground zombie style :)

I like this, the last boxes look really nice. Don't know if you intend to continue working on this, but if then some suggestions:

The guys left leg seems to bend a bit forward when he steps, and the other foot seems to float a bit on the ground, otherwise cool walk anim.

Some shadows and footprints would be cool. And some small animations on the boxes too.

The ice looks slippery, maybe Santa could simply slide through it.

A portal door on the ends would add some sense to the looping.
