Been focusing mostly on my painting lately, so I figured I'd do a little pixeling. Love the old NES games. Had a hard time deciding which game to remake. All the original and simple games like Exitebike, Balloon fight, Rivercity Ransom, Kid Ikarus and others are great alternatives. I settled on Kung Fu since it could do with a makeover. I always fealt the pink guys were trying to hug you to death rather than kill you, so I emphasised on that. This is also how I would picture the backgroud while playing. Lake in the front and tradidtional stone guarden in the back. Was planning on doing a true to the original powerbar, but a lot of the info was pretty unnesessary and a standard beam 'em up layout worked better. It also enhanced the 2 player aspect that was pretty bad in the original (Basically you take turns) Nice exercise.

pwnzorz yet again.
You make everything look so easy. Love the colors, only crit is that the 'color of darkness' differs in parts of the image, making it look a bit composite.
On a side note, do you have your paintings online somewhere? Would love to see them.

Aside from the bushes in the foreground looking extremely unfinished, this is top notch work.
