Overall seems a bit flat. I think that's why people are having a hard time with the details. Especially the mid area where the arms/hand/heart is. A little bit more shading around there may do the trick. Placing something in the bg might help too. The piece is beautiful none the less, just needs some work to be one of "THOSE" pieces :)

great piece overall, but yeah I'd also agree with most people and say that it's a little hard to tell exactly what it is unless it's zoomed in.

The issue of readability has been raised a few times, and while it was something I tried to address, it seems that I didn't do enough. Next time I will try to concentrate on that aspect more.
@Surt: I tried putting blood on her hands, but it made the area more confusing than it already is

@Jalonso: I thought the little red heart might distract, so I took it out. No one seemed to notice before

It creeped me the hell out on Pixelation as WIP, and it does the same here finished. Well done.

Though, I think the trim on the hat is lost a bit... if you used some of the other shades on her dress in it, it might show up better.

The clothing is beautiful. Very nice design along with the pose and concentrated look on her face as she studies the heart. She's delicate, but not evil...nice work

Love this piece. But like Doom said, the hat seems like a different style than the rest of the picture, and it sticks out to me. Other than that, great piece.

I think that you could have improved the border and hat though. The hat seems to be a different style than the rest.
