I'm done with this at the moment, kind of want to move onto a new level. I plan on adding more to this but I'll just edit it when I do. Inspired by Cave Story.

Although I agreed for the most part with the whole cave story debacle the whole encompassed project, especially the sweet characters and animations you've done, really set's this apart from cavestory and is much more reminiscient of the style you've set for yourself. I'm not as fond of this particular mockup as the whole game graphics but it you have definitely kicked some major ass with the other details of the project. Great work souly, it's one of the few topics I regularly frequent on pixelation.

I think it looks great overall, but I'm not feeling much for the dark brown in the masonry, seems too high sat for the grey stone.

The only thing i dont like is the flames,Alkaline did a sweet edit on them.but that migth be the only thing i dont like!

The only thing I've done similar to cavestory are the marble tiles.

i agree with the pixelation folx
theres being inspired by cave story and theres duplicating it
and you kind of crossed that line
