Yet another item I made for my Metroid fangame, this (apparently polyethene) machine is actually supposed to look metallic. And the purple is supposed to be energy. Edit: Increased contrast and added more sparks.

Okay, thanks. I'll see about that contrast and those sparks. The purple needs to stay because in Metroid games, the Wave Beam is purple. Got a growing to-do list on these sprites now that I'm getting constructive criticism. :)

M.E. is right. I'd also switch the purple for an electric blue, but thats just what I'd do, unless your really set on purple. good luck with the Game.

The energy looks like some worms.
Try more sparks instead. Like little, very little explosions.
The shine on the iron is nice, but shade can use some contrast.
