Well that is truly odd. Splat made that in the old pixelation days.This is not second hand info I was there : /
When he added his avvy we had a chtterbox discussion and I remember him saying it was his original.
The version in Wikiopedia (not always correct) is a vector version of the banana.

jal, I'm ok with the fact all the pixels actually made by human beings but I think he was talking of his own character and not the banana one. Just take a look. They are pretty different in many ways starting from outline, colors (choise of) and ending up with the animation.

Yup, the banana is better. I would also slow down the blinking text, it's too much like a strobe light right now.
