The colorcount is this massive, because there are quite a few sprites in there, and although I used the same colors for all the enemies, there are 2 Alpha Omnivore ( near the turrets) that are in the middle of an animation cycle involving some Alpha Blending ( so, these 2 alone add 20 colors) as well as the inclusion of the easter eggs that chew some more colors.

Sure, I could have mashed all these sprites and background down to say 64 colors, but then it wouldn't be true to the game... speaking of that, there are the particle effects missing, because that  would have knocked the color count above 256...

lastly, I don't think a high color count is a problem for this piece, since it IS a compostion of variouse sprites I did for the project.

203 colors? its a little bit don't you think?
