Angle - wow, didn't take into account and never thought about it, actually - fits general top-down shmup view at least. Contrast - I picked colours as I needed them, eventually pic became lighter than usual DDP. I think I'll do another DDP pic, because I want to stydy this style some more.

to EdensReject: I think I understand what you mean - in that place you can tell that it is very middle of pic, lower you can't. It's would be interesting to know what industrial design says on the symmetry.

I agree with greenraven, I thinks it's the v shape in the middle otherwise it wouldn't look quite so jarring.

Yeah, I decided not to do anything with it - lightsource is loosely defined in DoDonpachi and, after all it's a tank.
