Most certainly do! I'm getting kinda bored with DR's tiles :P And these definitely have more style to them (although they're less readable :( ).

 I shouldn't be doing actual pixelwork on this stuff this week, I need to do up my secret santa pixels and, ideally, I should be started coding on my own game. I can compile what I have now up onto the net somewhere, though.

(bearded childs) shamelessly stolen from existing dwarfort character sets. (see on that game's wiki) A lot of awesome pixelly stuff there.

@adam: the animals are scaled down because I need the silhouettes, the tiles display at 100%, 16 by 16, they're tiny. Similarly, I haven't had any success with fine details, they don't display clearly. Once you play the game a short while you can pick which dwarf you're looking at just by colour (and these tiles make it a lot easier, mind - by default, all dwarves are represented by the same smiley face, only the colour is different).

Ah! I thought I was the only one around that played dwarf fortress and enjoyed it! These would be an amazing improvement to all the @'s. The camels are my favorite <3

Some nitpicking: Why scaling down animals? I'm  not sure if this work is related to your "legacy" pieces, there are bigger creatures too. Some of the dwarves are a bit too similar to the default. I'd add some little detail (like an apron for the smith, a helm for the miner, a magnifying glass for the jeweler, and so on...), to enhance the differences.
