Nice one, I like the idea. I would have used one more colour for the moon though, in order to get a more subtle shading considering it's quite a big part of the picture.

I personally think angles are fun, they certainly beat the old RPG games that lack diagnol movements. Anyhow, that is amazing detail, looks like it took a long time. What was your motivation?

Nice work! I like that you didn't just go for the easier side view, but instead drew the whale at an angle.

I like the idea, composition, and moon, but the anatomy of the frontmost whale looks very weird to me. The head and mouth look huge when compared with the rest of the body. The eye is almost halfway down the length of the body. I'm not saying you should fix this immediately; it looks great the way it is. But it's just something I noticed.

Wow wow wow. This is just a beautiful piece. I love the composition and the texture of the moon and the whale.
One crit though... the shadow on the moon looks bizarre.
