It is the first entry thus far, my only criticism is the size of the sprite, but you can always enter more than one entry.

You could have made something a lot bigger... after all size is unlimited, and most competitions have a limit.
I would try to stay away from black lines if you are making something "realisitc", otherwise it's great for cartoons.

i tried to make the cape blowed, but it didnt work :(
his arms are under the cape.
you are right about the helmet, i will fix it soon.
the armor make it cooler; i cant change it :)
the eyes are good now, it took me a lot of time to pose them at the position they are now at.

For the challenge the cloth should be the major focus. Maybe try making it billowed by the wind.Most Vikings had arms.
Horns appear to be coming out of his head. If he's wearing a helmet it should be covering his forehead.
His left eye would be better placed one pixel to our right or one pixel down.
Horned helm and plate armour are not historically accurate.
