rather interesting background. I like it, though the brown seems to distract me a little from the surrounding areas or is it intended to do that?

I'll agree, here. Not to mention the darkest brown of the palette just cuts ruthlessly into the darkest green of the piece, making it hard for me to see how they blend. The dark green also doesn't seem to fit when blending into the layer behind it. Very confused child, I am, Hermm...

wa wa wa there's some confusion i think as to where the foreground is in terms of angle to the viewer (seems like a wall instead of a ground) and what depth it is at (it's under the trees?)

this might be exactly what you want if you are meant to climb/swing/fly past them, or if the canopy is the platform, but compared to the other backgrounds im confused.

If the foreground trees have circular canopies why to they get pointier in the 2 layers before the pink mountain range?
