This shows quite the improvement in running animation. The colors are nice, but I think I'd prefer a brighter red and blue and/or some highlights and shadows. The idle animation is fantastic :)

This is great! I'd wish they would revamp Mario into this. The real mario has been too polished. I do however think it could do with a little more colours for some highlight and shadow. Not as many colours as the old one off course. 5/6 - Slap some highlights on and you'll get the last dot

This one looks more like walking the old one looked like floating hmm apart from that you should detail it more.

It's great but apart from the reduced color count I can't see much improvement here. I like the old one more, this one looks too flat compared to the old one. Nevertheless the animation is pretty awesome!
