My last mockup was heavy on the squares so I decided to go a more flowy route. This is a cutscene mockup of Momotaro sailing through the ocean towards Onigeshima (Demon or Ogre Island in English translations) Also I'm not sure if I mentioned it already, but this is based on the folktale of Momotaro (the Peach Boy) and Kaguya Hime.

God, I love the style of all of these. Just something about the heavy use of black in conjunction with very light colors comes off very well.

I so want to see this turn into a game.

I think Momotaro's head is kind of weird, though. It seems like the backside of his head is either non-existent or just wonky. Maybe it'd look better like this? : http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/385/momozv6.png You don't have to listen to me, though.
