Apocalyptica is a band that covers metallica songs (among other things) using cellos. Of course, that's oversimplifying it, and they do have other instruments in their works, buuut that's the gist of it. Pretty cool stuff, in my opinion. An interesting (if similar) re-interpretation. I think this could benefit from some dithering, but it's pretty good!

There we go, went back and did a bunch of AA (based off the greyscaled luminescence values, as an experiment) to placate the AAdvocates. That's about as good as I could get it without adding any colours and feeling like I was overdoing it.

I wish I could shink of a simple way to fix that problem, but the only way I can think of to fill the space is to create a logical network of cracks and divots, which would be a total pain in the ass to do. I'm not so good at the whole "merely suggesting texture" thing. As usual, I'm open to suggestion :D

Oh, I love Apocalyptica (I play cello myself)! Very nice idea for this piece. The parts of the skeleton that are under water are really nicely rendered. Great job!

Looks great! I'd personally AA those white lines though, more. Not so they're thicker, just softer.

Anyways, the piece looks nice, but it could use some AA to tidy up some lines.
