Awesome shading :D Its a bit like Advance Wars actually.

Very good pose, dynamic angle and use of limited palette.

Like you say, a handle meeting the hammer would clarify that it is in fact a hammer and not an odd-shaped axe. 

Skamocore - your lizard man diagram is hilarious.  I burst into laughter once I "saw" your version of this.

I seriously exploded in laughter at skamocore's pic. Yep, I had a bit of a problem realizing what this was at first, but once I saw it, I was like "Woah what an awesome angle." :D

Ok, seriously, every time I see this I see some weird lizard man with some kind of eyepatch being hit by a bin and raising his hand in disgust. = \

Thanks for all the comments. Its probably a bit hard to read becuase i first sketched the hole thing out on paper and then pixeled it in paint. I also notice now there are some small details missing that could enhace the readability, like where the handle should meet the hammer and stuff.
