This is what i think i'm gonna do. I'm going to go into your gallery and favorite everything i see. YOU ARE AMAZING. You and tomic are like pixel gods or something. Do you have tips for newbs on pallete selection and colours in general?

Nifty pixels! Good job! My only two problems; the front edge of the tub (on the inside) feels a bit indistinct and I don't like the nose at all :)
Other than that, great stuff!

Tomic: Yeah, the jointless limbs do seem to be catching on. Honestly, though, I dunno where I picked it up. I took to doing it up during my break from pixelling, so... maybe it's a subconscious influence? Definitely not my own invention, regardless. 
Now that I think of it, actually, I've stolen it from a bunch of people, various illustrators' sites, random artwork I've seen recently, etc., so ilkke probably did play a significant part in it.

Yeah its definitely 12 colors. I quite like it, good mix of cold and warm colors.

ilkkish joint-less extremeties seem to have gotten a trend that i've missed somehow =)
