WOW, on fire fox this looks absolutely awesome, i mean so much force in there and so much stylealthough the idling stance could use more frames, it looks rather choppy compared to the rest

wow, when the page was loading I saw a still picture, and I was like ... huh? ... then when it started moving, I was like HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME!!! ... seriously, if I hadn't known it was a sprite, I might have almost though it to be 3d ... excelent work.

Not that I have any say in anything at all, but the wooden handle seems a little to bright for the rest of the colors =\But other than that, definitely one of the best animations i've seen - the cape is mind blowing :O

It would be madness if there were some proyected shadows from the cape to his own armor, but the animation for me is just perfect!! so real.
Have you used some rotoscopy technique or its all in your head?
I'll be your favorite number 100 on this animation.

Very nice indeed! The actual idle pose animation looks a little stiff compared to the actual strike with the lovely flowing cape though....I love the spinning of the spear :)

I agree with vedsten about the shading/coloring not being great at all and yeah the animation itself is beautifully done. If this is from a game then it's one that really wouldn't be done justice in static screenshots.

It might be a good idea to take out a bunch of frames in the middle to emphasize the power of the strike, like this: http://www.herculeaneffort.com/upload/protecteur_l2.gif
I wouldn't recommend mixing framerates in the middle of the animation, either. I would use that if I wanted to hold a frame, so it would all be multiples of a base framerate.
