This is the title screen for an independent cell phone game called 'Bit Spy'. It was requested by the game's creator, Jonas Ahnlund, who also provided the outlines for the title and menu font. More info on, and eventually a download for, the game can be here. I did the player sprites as well, which I'll post later if anyone's interested. I think the colour count's right. Scold me if it's off, I like to be punished.

Souly: Mostly 'cause of the other constraints I was dealing with, I guess. The game's creator wanted both the feet and hands to be pretty close to what they are in the final sprite (size wise), and as the sprites had to be 16x16, it cut into the room I had for the face/hair/everything else. In all fairness, though, I thought his nose was pretty big... (just to be sure, though... we are talking about the same sprites, right?)

Alkaline: Yeah, but the hard part was taking that simple blue square and making it my own, y'know? ...actual sprites are on the page now, in the last two screenshots.

nice. the guy is what i like best about this, the rest is passable and pleasant tho

from what i could tell from the website the player sprite is a blue square o___o pretty easy walkcycle right

Sweet title screen. The colours are great too, even though they're kinda separated on the canvas, they just work really well. Nice!
