Strange how there is an ongoing dispute about flips, despite David Belle stating that flips are not Parkour because they are not useful :D

He also says many times, that Parkour is a training method, not the act of overcoming obstacles itself, but a training method by which to achieve that *goal (*being able to overcome obstacles).

Great job on this B_j0k3r0! I love it! I found it by looking for AIM icons for parkour on google and this came up.

I saw your comment and wanted to interject, there IS in fact a difference between Parkour and Free Running, what you have stated is in fact true for parkour, also the philosophy being "Not to be controlled by one's surroundings."

Free Running is in fact about using urban and rural areas to preform movements through its structures focused on freedom and beauty. Free Running's philosophy is "freedom of choosing your own path."

Also there is an ongoing dispute about flips being considered parkour or not.

Umm.. Parkour, in other words Freerunning, It's an activity with the aim of moving from one point to another as efficiently and quickly as possible.. Running, jumping, climbing on walls, on anything actually.. anything you see.. Its a physical activity that is difficult to categorize, it has no rules.. Some call it an Extrem Sport, some dont.. You name it :) Really fun acctually, dangerous too ;)
