I made a new version, I tried to correct pillow shading and put a spotlight coming from his right;

I think I'll edit this chara in order to remove that "pillow shading", first.
Then maybe a GIF with a dynamic light, just to practice with the illumination....

Very nice, but this robot and your blob are pillow-shaded... For you next piece, choose a direction the light is coming from (not from the front but from a side) Because your design and colours are pretty good. The shading ruins it, I think.
