A custom set of cards for use with the well known party game Werewolf (or Mafia).
Featuring quite a few special characters and a couple of in-jokes.

You can print them for play if you like. Ask away if you need to know about special chars.

Thanks for comments, ppl

@iSTVAN & Talos & AdamPlays: Yes, werelock is like a seer, it can sense whether a player is ordinary peasant or not. Lumberjack is like a hunter, he can kill one player as a revenge after he is eaten by werewolves. Little girl can peek at night (of course if she is seen the werewolves will pick her as the victim), and vigilante kills one player every night. Of course, he's on the peasants team, so he is trying to kill the bad guys. Priest and half breed differ from game to game, but usually the priest has the ability to protect one player for the night (he chooses before the  werewolves do) and the half breed can either be a wolf that looks human to the seer or a human that looks like a werewolf. Optionally he can instead pick a side at the beginning of the game. We also sometimes play with the village chieftain, who is elected by the others, and whose vote counts as two (or he has the ability to resolve 50-50 situations).
It's very tricky to add or modify chars cause it can disturb the pace of the game, but with the right crowd, you can playtest everything easily.

I have a bunch of original (and even playable) card games I've made. I might give them all a pixel art skin if I find the time :D

What do all the specials do?  When I played this game we only had a seer.  I'm not familiar with these other ones.

Oh, and nice way of using the eyes to distinguish the Evil, Townsfolk and Special cards from each other.

My friends and I play this game pretty often. It can be really fun. We usually draw our own sets and have had lengthy discussions over the invention of new characters.
I'm assuming that the Priest is the same as the Sorcerer, with the ability to grant life and death once each, and that the Werelock is an evil version of this that works with the Werewolves. I had the same idea recently. I'll also assume that the Vigilante is the same as the Hunter in our game.
Does the Lumberjack have two lives or something, or is it just a Python-esque in-joke? No idea what the half-breed is.
We also play with a Cupid who chooses two Lovers at the start. The Lovers are then a separate team who work together. If one dies, the other does. So they try to protect each other.

Wow, lengthy comment, and I haven't even mentioned the art! I think maybe you should include a few female Werewolves, to even out the gender inbalance- not that I have a problem with the dangling knobs!

This seems so simplistic, yet so cool.

2x is viewable, and 4x and up is printable, i think.
@skamocore: You might have seen the funny-moon-language (trademark by ptoing) version on my blog.

skamocore (Level 9 Necrophiliac) at 5/21/2008 2:55:03 AM
I'd probably say 4x if these were supposed to be printed out and used as cards

...and where have I seen these before...did you post them on pixelation or something ?

Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) at 5/21/2008 1:45:47 AM
this was made for 2X indeed.
