the preview looks nicer than the image itself, i find the preview looks like some tribal alien monkey thing, the true image is nice, i just dont like the angles of everything, not enough dimension to it

Excellent piece! Update the preview though ... it's terrible and doesn't lend itself to clicking! The piece if FAR better than the preview suggests!

I really like this. The octopus is pretty easy to read despite being fairly similar to the color of the sky. I prefer not to use colors that are that close together, but I'm not sure which other colors could work better. I also think I'd brighten the highlight and get rid of the dithering to make it look shinier. Maybe consistent use of AA would work better, although I suppose it's one way of separating them from the background. There's one thing you can do easily, and that's darkening and lowering the saturation of the red ramp to bring out the details on the dragon a bit better.http://www.retinaleclipse.com/m4rsellinoedit.gif

Very good color choices on the dragon's head. Execution in the whole piece is very good, nice job!
