Inspired by FraGMarE and helped along by some of Matriax's tips for making fonts, here's @NGUL0US, a font.
It's meant to be reminiscent of a font from an arcade game or something. Each character was originally 8x8 max. I think the overlaying system I used to create the color variants could be emulated somehow, so...
Also the overlaid versions look awful on a light-colored background, hence the dark boxes.
oh right the green palette was based off of one on colourlovers (http://www.colourlovers.com), see if you can find it! (i'm not sure if i'm supposed to just link back to the main page or to the user's page or what under their creative commons license)
Best viewed at 2x or higher. So nuts to you FF3 users.
Made the entire background the dark color because I think it looks cooler, also updated the preview to be cooler and include the scrapped "fire chrome" color variation. |
