Watching the preview image i think i would like this. So what if are just lines? It could be really wide pixels. I think this should be approved. I will send you a letter, Jal! Do you HEAR ME??
Well, it's a reference to the movie "Mallrats" but I can see where you were going with this piece and I like it, so I think we can still be friends. :)
Pixels aren't necessarily squares, actually. They can be, of course, but that's never been the rule. Either way, the comment was in reference to the "just lines" bit.
@DogMeat : I like the new one a lot better. This one doesn't looks pixelart especially, even if you used this technique. It's not reaaally a pixel work IMO, but there is more of an artistic conscience behind this. You could even submit this to the challenge, it fit the condition if you imagine a guy disguised in something in :p That is too strange for us right now I think, for me at least to right a decent comment... Maybe it's too early in the time to post it on PJ...
Its just lines, I don't see anything in there that would count as a peice of art with structure. I like the other abstracts that you did, but this is just... lines. I'd like to see some structure and planning =)
