about time to have a donkey / donkey on cliff piece in my portfolio as well =) done for the gfx competition of the evoke 2008 demoparty, got 2nd place (in a field of 24bit pieces hehe); palette was heavily influenced by the serbian allstars' old bridge, take this as tribute guys =) lacks of depth =) and i feel that it's kinda overdetailed (well, as most of my pieces) thanx to the guys at pixelation for suggestions, especially ptoing, helm and nathan. reference: none tools: grafx2 misc: i've been interviewed by a camerateam of german public tv stations zdf/3sat 'while' pixeling this.. will be broadcasted on sunday, august 17th (http://www.3sat.de/3sat.php?http://www.3sat.de/neues/neues_titel.html, german, pretty embarassing and not more than 2 minutes i guess; had to do some fake pixeling on an old working stage as the pic was already finished when the interview was shot - just in case you wonder what the hell i'm doing there =) wip: wip-animation (158 frames!) can be found here; more extras: the HDready version that was shown to the audience (widescreen beam, looked hell great)

Brilliant work here Tomic.

Again - the way you tackle mountain ranges is very good indeed. The only thing I would crit is the hard edge outline on the steps and that the castle in the background seems to be a little too in focus/detailed for the distance that it is.

hey...remember mr useless at pixelation? have to say...the theme of this one reminded me of something I've been wanting to do for ages...therefore the strange decisions I made in that topic O_o been watching your other pieces, good stuff....LOVE the cat.....really really liked some of the other stuff.....you've got something going on!

Very nicely done like always. My favorite parts would have to be the clouds surrounding the mountain and the random "cyclopes" guy with the hat peeking over the ridge behind the donkey. Once again, great piece. :)

Damn, another great one. What I like about this one in particular is the amount of pixels used. There are less "free spaces" in it, than in your other pics. :D Great stuff and funny title.

hehe, you're right. 'woman and mat!/ozone get in for free', remeber him from several mekka symposiums too and i believe he actually lived in that old car. and yes, i'm sure he's grey-haired now and switched to donkeys considering the oil-price boost =)

@exocet: got 2nd place there. best way to force more donkeys is to win one of those weekly challenges btw =)
