Created it by following a PS tutorial on MSPaint. Please do not grill me as this is the first art piece I am submitting...however, I do and will appreciate tips and advices for future artworks.

thanks for the suggestions. i haven't been able to get to it yet because school started and i got swamped with studying and working. i took a look at the picture and yeah, i realize it needs some more work done (whoever says pixel drawing is easy, needs to be shot). so as soon as i get some free time (hopefully otday), i'll get to work. plz continue with the suggestions and advice (still a noobie).
It's not too badly pillowshaded, imo, the main problem is there's too little contrast and the light source isn't really discernable at all. I personally thing more detail, such as the fine hair present on the bee, should be included at this size.
It's pillow shaded, thats where it appears as if there is a lightsource between us and the object. It could use more detail. If you don't know what to add, make it smaller.
