Character from one of a thousand whimsies I have kicking around.

This one is Rasa, from the figment Milliner's Tale.    Milliners have the ability to create hats that hold spirits, which when worn offer a sort of half-possession - the characters gain particular strengths and attributes, but the spirit also speaks to their minds.

Here he's wearing the Buller Derby, holding an aggressive bull demon, so his legs (usually human legs) have become bull legs in addition to the horns sprouting from the cap.  The bull demon would increase Rasa's temper and honor is worn for extended periods.

Great technique and execution! This is a very appealing sprite. Plus, Rasa was my favorite character from the book!

Perfect style. Your color choices mixed with such smooth posing and pixeling really makes this a knock-out piece. I'm going to be studying this majorly for new game styles. Great work!

Edit: looking at ptoing's post I think I made the same mistake, and I'm really having trouble viewing it any other way. The big brown furry part on the right, is that a hand or...a knee I guess? I thought it was just dynamic posing.

Haha, I totally misread the hand on the right as a frilly shirt sleeve and the light part of the leg below it as a hairy fist. That said the leg on the right looks a bit odd to me. Otherwise quite nice I have to say, reminds me a bit of that small were-dear character from One Piece.

I was bewildered at first.  I immediately recognized your distinctive color choices, but the style was foreign.  I like this style, it's uncluttered and it pops.
