Work for cellphone game. A more colorful version of this with the tiles crunched a bit down was eventually used. Doing water tiles without opacity is a pain. I enjoy the ambience though!
These are awesome. I always love the detail and sexy colours you put into your work.

i like this a lot - i find nothing wrong about the water, it looks cold and the gradient gives a feel of depth. also i like the warm/cold-contrast between the light / statues and the tiles.
Gold is a nice contrast to the rest of the colors. Some tiles just don't make much sense tho, and look more like from a block stacking game. Also, water should be a lot darker to sit well, imo.

Lots of Gods about this. Or rather how Gods would have looked if Dan Malone would have done it. Love it to death!

This is excellent. I agree with the comments about the water, but the colors and the details on the stones are beautiful. Great work.
I agree, the water should have definitely been darker, Indigo. I wish you'd have given me this critique when I was making it, heh. The company is the Russia-based as far as I can tell, Visual Media. He was wonderful to work with besides a bit of language barrier. Prompt on payment and specific in his revision suggestions. I am unaware of the current fate of the game, I made these about... a year ago. http://vm-mobile.com/eng/
Very lovely tileset. I think the water could have had a better effect being darker than the foreground tiles (to elude to being semi-transparent to the dark background tiles), but its pointless naming critiques since it has already been published. Speaking of which - could you link to the company/game?

I love the torch light on the walls and I agree with you about the ambience. The water is a little odd looking but as you said, with no opacity it's tough (still looks good though!)
great job
