I read all the nfo and posts and saw that you wanted non-traditional looking angels. Maybe my traditional art thinking is screwing me up, as in I'm thinking that you should be able to recognize what they are by sight alone. Realistically, in a game, you would have a lot of ways to do that through storyline, etc. My bad ><

@ZacRay The "angels" design intentionally don't look like traditional heavenly, haloed, feathery-winged angels. What would the fun be in that? :p

But yes, the hands should probably be on the other side.

Looks cool but unless I was told so, I wouldn't guess those were angels. Shouldn't the clock hands appear to be on the pther side of the glass?

Dream-inspired pixel art, nice. Seeing the different frames of the "angels" makes me want to see them in action. Gotta love the bg. I strongly recommend using *different* colors for the bg than you do for the foreground, would read better; less busy.

leave it be, You could add more gears if you could think of a good place or way to put them, I can't, so I say let it grow.

I think it's overcrowded as it is. It's alright, adding more would kill the feel of the piece IMO

Characters-Great job on them, those white things remind me of the monsters on Kingdom Hearts2. Background-Awesome clockface+city. Inside of clock tower needs more gears+axels but would be a lot harder than it sounds. Sweeeet. (Overall result)
