I initially read the sword as a cane. Maybe due to color?

it looks like he's looking to the right (his left) when there's no animation, the animation shows the other eyes, to that it looks like he's looking more at us and a bit down. A bit confusing, but overall a very nice piece with a lot of details and the animation is pretty good.

I like the animation and the design, although there are some things that could be improved... the animation, but from what I can see you are fixing that already. On regards the covered eye, I don't like that it shows when the wind blows, if I were you I'll not show that eye at all, since the pose looks he's looking to his left side, in a way. Either way, one of the two must be fixed so it can look better.

Yeah. The animation has potential but IMO if the wind is strong enough to blow something that far, it should stay... blown... for longer, and maybe flicker too.

Here's a quick edit, just duped some frames.

I like it, but the animation takes it away from it.. perhaps try adding more frames as has been suggested? The part that throws me off the most if is the highlight up near the eye that flashes on and off.. perhaps do it in a darker color or less highlighted one?  :)

Well great, now I've got conflicting opinions :p

If I'm up to it, I might double the frames in the future. I happen to be fairly happy with the current result at the moment though.
