Dude I think this is pretty bad, you can do better. You're thinking geometrically, not artistically. A tube viewed so exactly from the side that it's edges are flat, with a couple flat rectangles slapped on is not interesting enough. I think if you spent more time on the design of the ship you would get a better result, instead of jumping right into implementation when you have no idea what you're going for.

Great palette selection, but the thing is really dull by itself.

Good execution for what you were going for, but you aimed too low.
