nice.. but the background is annoying,idk why,but he's annoying..><
Very nice style. Really like the color choices, the alligator in particular.
Well at least some one did a decent octopus on the drums.
I had the same idea but you executed it better me thinks.
I agree as well. Honestly, they are more or less pasted on. I'd already created the characters before learning the exact size specifications, and thus had to "cram" a bit more than intended. They now rest in their current spots because I didn't want the spot lights to overlap and recolor stuff, though in retrospect it probably wouldn't have been much work.
Basically it was about the characters so I let myself get lazy with the background. It was even uglier before.
Like everyone else says, the colours are very nice :) The pixels on the animals are wonderful, but picture itself is lacking in composition. They all seem so far apart, and the stage doesn't seem to project any sort of perspective, making them look "pasted on", and making the edge of the stage at the bottom right and the speaker look a bit ugly in comparison to your lovely characters.
Great job, though! That bear with the fiddle is probably the best thing I've seen all week. :D
aww it's soooo cute! i can't decide which of them is the most!
yeah, i've got four hours. I can think of something for the stage I guess.
Only in Alabama.
This is delicious Cure style - very neat and tidy :3 I love the animals' textures.
My only real complaint is that I can't figure out what that middle horizontal line is - A step? Part of a wall? Part of curtain?
Fun stuff! Great expressiveness and characterization.
Knew it was yours before clicking. I like the character of the characters. (?)
the stage is lazy :c
the characters themselves look really great though! very nice
but bluegrass? i'm sorry we can't be friends anymore...
=)
nice! this is win! ^^... i like how you combined the character of the animals with their instrument, almost fable-like :D..
bg is a little empty, but... yeah... ^^
your octopi always impress me.
i know that you would rather have constructively critical comments than complimentary ones, however, so i will say that the one thing that gets me, and i only noticed this after looking into it more closely, is the angle of the stage. i feel that the angle from the bottom should be more obtuse. otherwise the stage would have to be a lot larger than the piece suggests, assuming that the band is center stage.
i love the lighting effects, the expressions of the animals, and especially the animals themselves.
