 Isn't it odd how every pixel artist's female self is so anatomically robust? I swear there is some kind of pattern going on here. Nice glowing mushrooms, however. And the color choice is compelling.

But yeah, like Manjaman said, the kind of ambiguity in the degree of womanness is kind of intentional (kind of). I mean I didn't aim for making her ugly on purpose or something, but I wasn't going for an over-sexualized womany woman or anything, yeah? Just how I'd envision myself were I a woman. Imperfect, sure, maybe even a little butch, but yeah, the ladies come in all shapes and sizes, you know?

And thanks for all the praise and stuff guys :) I dunno about near perfect, Manjaman, but thanks alot (don't look too deeply into the mushroom thing, I just needed an explanation for the green lightsource :P )

It's quite obvious that orenshtiv feels ill at ease with sex. So Oren, just ignore the pieces you're judging offensive, or build a criticism, here you're not consructive at all (this is not an attack, just an advise).

Xion, you've done an awesome work, because you've really understood the wealth of this challenge, we can never know if it is a virile girl, a man with prothesises (or even the result of some strange surgical operations >.<).

And on a technical point of view this is almost perfect (the geometrical patterns could have been spread in other areas of the pic).

Is there something to see in these two mushrooms Owo ? Maybe a clue to understand the sex of your character ^.^ )

the problem is - the head,it just not girly(or womenly,whatever) and it doesn't work like this..just....weird...srry...

What problems do you "exactly" have with this piece orenshtiv? What`s so disturbing about this pic? Sorry but you`ve posted on this twice but haven`t really commented on any aspects.

Here`s my reasons for liking it.

The artwork and rendering are very well done. The body dimensions, proportions and the pose are nicely structured. Do you not feel that the creases on the clothing are nicely done?  Do you not think that the lighting and glow coming from the mushrooms fall on the her body convincingly? Do you not feel that her feet drawn in those angles are portrayed well? Do you not like the challenge of the 22 colour pallete?

I hope this does get first place. I´m voting this because I like the different challenges pushed on this artwork and not because I "fancy" her.

What are you talking about Orenshitv?, sure the facial features aren't  extremly feminine, but her body is gorgeus :D and the pixel work is Amazing!
