8-22-2010:

Updated it now that I'm much better at doing portraits / avatars. How do you like it Greenraven? I really like this character.

11-25-2009:

There goes my gift, as promised in the chatterbox... it's a remake of Greenraven's current avatar. Sorry until now I just forgot the thing on the top right of his head, which is animated... this is more my style of character... lol I couldn't resist giving it my own twist. :D

Took me about 20-25 minutes to make, done using charamaker1999 as usual, with my default palette. If anyone is wondering how was the process, take a look here:

I think you would improve if you did more facial anatomy rather than an anime type thing.
Other than that the shading bothers me, all to one side and somethings make no sense.
Also, dither doesn't look to cool man.

I think you could do way better than this, you already have a grasp on some good basics and your way better  than this, I think you could impress allot of us if you tried to learn, learn and learn.

Lollige = I know... I do that once in a while, the Star riddled skyes submission I made back then, has original colors. :D For now I will stick to the palette, until I create a full one on my own, just as good as this one. :) I appreciate the advice.

You would learn much more if you put it aside! Making an own palette allows easier modification when finished, and you can learn to find the perfect colors!

Smk = Thank you. I have improved in the shading, which I'm glad, after soo many tries... I'm still trying though. :D

A question: why do you use a default palette?

Excellent work. I was sure it was done by greenraven, though I was a bit perplexed, 'cause I haven't seen him shade like this before. A very good remake of the old avvy :) *thumbs up*
