Smart Missiles aka Homing Missiles. Although in this case I guess they would be Homing Torpedoes.
What does "2. Smart" mean on the lower left there?

I was sure it was going to... anyway, I just loved this: for me, the best one.
Those rocket trails are great, I really like those.

I particularly like how you used black on the right side of the picture
as I was voting I just now noticed the creepy creature swiming in the dark there. now one of my favorite parts.

Maybe add some bright green highlights on the right side of the cave's entrance to make it a little bit more readable? The boss creature seems really cute to me :D
The best one in the challange. I like especially the tentacle coming out of ground and also theese small gloomy creatures.

Looks good, the cthulu thing seems a bit static for a boss though. Although that may contribute to the lovecraftian atmoshpere.
