Beautiful!
Slight shading inconsistency too: tower tops are top-back lit, tower faces and walls are top-front lit (seing as tower edges are darker).
Cast shadows mean top-back, but then you shouldn't have indents for doors in the shadows.
I love the details (especially the gold trim). You did a great job with the individual objects, but for some reason the scene as a whole looks slightly off to me. I suspect that stronger lighting would fix it. Right now the walls look disconnected from the ground.
You should probably get the castle parts a little "dirty" to show that it isn't floating above the mud. Removing the shadows would probably help too.
Disregarding the floating castle defect, the piece looks great!
Simple geometry rules for 45° Perspective :P!
But looks very babylonian
@Elk: I felt the same way.. just had no idea how to fix it. heh.
@Onek: that's true once you mention it. It must be the last minute shadows I put on there.
Perspective issue with the Wall-Tower transistion
else it's nice ^^
I don't get those barrel shadows on the battlement of the left wall. Otherwise i like the cleennes of the piece. It'd certainly make a nice game.
