I dig this for realz! But more Mario than Yoshi here. If that makes sense?!

 I think that the highlights on Mario's red cloths needs more contrast and Yoshi's ankles/feet seem a bit flat. Interesting interpretation, seems a bit meaner than Yoshi in game. No wonder the goombas & co. get owned!

No matter if he's missing his saddle and boots, he still looks cool. :]
