Squirrelquid-Thank you very much for your help, thanks to your help I will be able to improve both this and in future works.
Thanks for your coverage.
Ego-Thank you, a year ago I started a project shmup, is in progress and with more time I'll hang more graphics, thanks for the interest, I am very encouraged to continue.
Delicious-Thank you very much for your comment, I will follow your advice and I'll take a look at his gallery, thanks.
Those are pretty nice! Something that could definitly improve the palettes, would be to remove 2 shades from the palette, and replacing them with bluish grays. also, distribute 'the weighting' of the shades that are still there from the original gradient, so that you don't end up with 'holes' in the values.
You can apply greyish details to all designs, by adding small elements, like sensors etc- You can also use the darker shades of your gradient to give your grey areas more shadow. Grey works with any color combination, and can also be used to 'suck up' colors.
My favorites are grey/red and purple/green.
The Blue/red ones falls a bit out of the row, since they have slightly pillowy shading ( 2. and 3. ) and the whole palette is a bit to garing and too saturated.
Overall, pretty good! keep it up :3
I really don't like the palletes, but the vehicles are awesome!
People need to stop making the previews look cooler than the actual peices. XD
these are some nice spaceships
if you want help with this, you should put it in the forum, in the WIP section
I agree with Delicious, very much like Squirrelsquid's stuff(that's actually the reason I looked in), and very high quality. I personally like the blue-beige and the red-gray on their own, but all of them seem like they could easily be natural within some contexts. Is there any surrounding details that go with these? I'd very much like to hear more about them.
These are very nice! Reminds me of Squirrelsquid's stuff - You should definitely check out his work for inspiration, he is very talented on shmup ships like these.
Two pieces in the second page of the weekly showcase, great!
I want to see more of this ;D love the preview
