I feel like the colors lost the warmth and that the letters "h" "e" "r" "o" really meant a lot in the painting as well. Other than that this is an amazing piece. I love the perplexing thoughts that it gives off.

@Manu: Yes! Redder tones is exactly what it needs. I'm afraid I did this in quite a "paint by numbers" way, starting off in greyscale. Never done that before, so the colour ramps seem a bit stodgy.

@Delicious: Yeah, someone said that Dali'd use some clouds or something :/  I count myself lucky not to just have him floating in space, thanks to my aversion to backgrounds

For some reason the first thing this made me think of was old, weird Magic: the Gathering art (like Time Walk), only much better. I think I've been playing too much Magic.
