Top Pixel Art - January 2011 (#1)
I've seen this piece a lot without ever commenting so here it is....... 
First time I saw the tree move I had to sit there and watch it move three more times before I was convinced I wasn't just seeing things. I love this.

I have mixed feelings about this piece. I really like staring at it, but it kinda makes my selfesteem go down the drain...
THe best thing about this piece is, Whenever I look at it, I always find something else to look a in amazement.

Just some small comment...I don't like that pixelart is connected with poor-made iso towns that can be found anywhere...I hate that

To call out one item for particular praise, I love what you did with the shadows in this piece; specifically the choice of how you did the shadowed sides of the buildings.
Really effective and beautiful iso in a vintage-styled fantasy-themed town, love it!

Perfection, Though if you feel like your up to it you could animate that fire.

This is absolutely amazing. I'd love to see this on a handheld for a gamestravaganza.
This is absolutely amazing. So much detail, so much going on without over crowding it. Its a real treat looking around and discovering new things everywhere. The colouring is rich and the animation is done well. There are a few unpolished animations of characters, but that can be expected witht he amount of movement and detail.
Just small nitpicks that dont detract from the piece significantly, but just an observation. Well done though!
I love all the little scenes happening everywhere, it's a pleasure to discover, and it's so cute :)
My favorite scene is the lurking cat :D

This is super-attractive. It tells many stories at once. If used for an RPG or something, this could be very immersive!
Color for the dark sides of buildings bugs me. Very oddly hue-shifted. Looks teal/aquamarine. Others shadows are purple tinted, so why teal for buildings?
Come on, animate that fire!!
Well, what can I say. Super gorgeous. Very nice "videogame" style. Very colorful, detailed and technically absolutely perfect. Love it.
38 colors, very well done! My favorite part has to be the boy shooting the dog with the sling shot lol. aside from a ew sedentary characters, I would have loved to see the fire animated.

along with pieces by fool and jalonso this is how you do iso pixel art properly. none of that basic eboy crud.
I really dig the palette here. I thought the kid with the slingshot was Vault Boy for a second.

With how active the whole image feels, the immobility of the fire and soldier at the top-center of the image sticks out a lot.
But jeez, this must've been an utter nightmare to animate. I can't even fathom it. 6/6 stars.

Reo - yep I'm very glad that make improvement in my works and always can make more, but I'm glad when this was noticed.
ultimaodin - bat was suggested from Jalonso and I catch this idea immediately.
EdJr - hehehe be shure that I look at many hours over this, but just drink coffee.
Balamoot - I also dislike that parts, but want to start something new.

I absolutely love this and all it's little details. Especially love the little bat flying about and how the dog barks at the horse when it moves. Beautiful and faved!

I like how you haven't reused any tiles or used straight lines everywhere. Iso usually looks cheap, but this is great.
