 Wow! This is great, the expression and the colour combinations, especially the highlights in the blue areas are great! It's fun to see classic characters like this portrayed with so much detail and thought. He looks ready to start moving!

I love the blue-violet-cyan-yellow mashup on its cannon and shell frame. Little multi-color combos like those fill me with such inexplicable glee.

edit:@Demon: I think you mean saturation, hue is just color identity (red,blue,green,etc).

defintely stick with the vibrant colors, they're a big reason I like this piece

 Lowering the HUE a tad bit on the tummy, chin and shell do wonders for this piece IMO.

Haha, I actually like the style of the actual pokemon graphics, they're quite crisp. Though I agree in some sense that they need a bit more detail added to them since they're all just primarily line art. Either way, that means a lot to me. Thank you!

Very well done.  Certainly far, far better than the piss-poor graphics in actual Pokemon games.

@Delicious: I think yours "easily destroys" Cure's I wouldn't normally say that but the man said so himself  and I don't think you should sell yourself short.
