For the weekly challenge.

This is a currency using the character Clef from CLAMP's Magic Knight Rayearth.  As a guru/mage/uber powerful person in/on the country/planet(?) Cephiro, I figured he was important enough to rate his mug on the money there.  Clef is my favorite guy (and maybe character) from MKR!

I'll probably be doing a backside of this for the challenge. ^_^

Oh!  The denomination if you read it aloud would be a bass Clef, bass being a number here.  I contemplated putting a treble clef, but he's a guy and this one is a bit less immediately recognizable. : )

Thanks!  There's not a bajillion of them and some are specific to me and not the manga.  I'll give you a clue; one's in the blue/green background...

I love the way you shaded Clef. And the background on the right side, especially.

Thank you! ^_^  Some of the textures are references to things related to the character; I have a feeling that I'll be the only one to ever know all the little things (easter eggs?) I put into this piece.
