When I was about halfway around making this, I realized it REALLY reminded me of Masjin. Must be the simple, non-textured surfaces.
anyone every play masjin? this is very similar looking.
daamm, who made that palette, we should demand him!.. jajajaja :PP. Well then leave it like its :P, it dont look bad, but it get a bit lost as i said, but as you said is a problem with the palette :(. You could still add a yellow in top of the leaves. but your style in this pieace is a bit different to that. I mean, it's all made with solid colors with 1/2 or 3 of them. So i think i was talking shit here and you should leave it like its! jajajaja XDDD... and thx for keeping doing pixels, your an inspiration! ^^
Not sure how playable it would be, but it sure is purty
that explosion..
Jal, it is a 'console size' or something, the challenge requires exact mesurements for the canvas ;)
There are no green colors to properly contrast with the blue sky. One is too dark and one is pretty much indistinguishable from the blue :/
Consider it a 'subtle backdrop', hehe :D
deliicous.... just a crit, the trees get lost in the sky. maybe a light green or a dark green would fix better. The rest is pretty delicious :D
It does stand out on dark themes and I only asked because the border is not even on 4 sides so I thought it was an obscure console size, nvm. Truly, lovely tiles.
Fixed! Also, I've received some nice offers for game collabs lately, so I'll try and do something with that. Haven't really had much free time lately, but hopefully that's about to change :)
I did try and make some simple games, too, but I lack programming skillz and am way too much lazy to actually finish making a game myself :)
Can't say I like the sky/clouds, the green just stings. However, the work you did for the interior/tiles is magnificent. Do you ever make games? The amount you pump out is incredible, you should definitely consider developing games if you don't already, it's a great gig! :)
Adorable
