Holy cow, this is amazing, so much detail, sorry that it didn't work out, but I'm sure you have learned a few things while in the making of this. I really really like it, great work. Oh and how long did it take you to create on of those pictures, and how big is the file size in pixels?

I like the design of the player character. That makeshift armor is hilarious. An old teapot for a helm, an old rum barrel serving as breastplate...cool stuff

There is some banding in places, and in the top image the mushrooms in the mushroom group (the mushroom group in question being the one at the edge of the pathway between what I'm assuming is the PC and the enemies) is abruptly cut off to (our) left, like it was cropped or something. But I'm just nitpicking here.

This is like candy for the eyes, there is so much to see!
I really like how you have used things (clouds, mountains, the road) in frame two that were also in frame one without making it look like you just copy/pasted it.
only thing I do not like, and i really had to search for it are the light/shadow beams you have in the moest upper right corner between the foliages, it just looks like it was part of the wip but never worked out..
What I really like about your art is that I feel like I could just reach out and touch it. <3

I don't know why, but the characters do not fit together that well for me. Anyway this is the most beautiful thing I've seen recently (except my girlfriend of course). Vibrant, distinctive foreground and a fantastic (somehow nostalgic) background.
Sigh...I quit pixel art.
What I want to know is how you can do these so quickly. This would take me years and the result wouldn't be nearly as good. Never seen a more natural pixel artist than you.
Can you compare those blocky rpg trees that get a lot of praise with these? I also need to mention the corns, flowers and trunks. So many hidden treasures here. So have you got any complete projects? It'd be a blast to play.

Your textures are really inspiring, I've only just started practicing and am quickly learning how much time and patience you have to put toward it. I can truthfully say I get moments of dread while doing texture, but looking at your work makes me want to push to practice and improve x)
