Nice. The walk is a little choppy, but its probably more of a framerate issue. It also reminds me of old-school arcade style animation like in Golden Axe.
You didn't have to remove it, just reverse it (after all he migth be walking in a dungeon lit by torches). Or have a quick one frame reflection at the axes top position.
I see what you mean, so I got rid of the specular movement, thanks again DawnBringer. :D
The walk is better. The specularities wouldn't move unless the angle of the blades change or resulting from a close lightsource...and then they'd move in the opposite direction (which I think will look nice).
Thanks DawnBringer :) I've had a go at correcting the walk, hopefully it's less moonwalk like. I've also added some light refecting on the axes as well, what do you think?
I was thinking "Gods" too :D... nice character, but since he doesn't lift his legs it looks like a moonwalk (or a very gay strut). How about a gleam on the axes when they reach their top positions?
