He's Valkyrie's loyal warrior, chosen by her. Also known as Krino or Sandora in the original Valkyrie no Densetsu. It took a lot to do the gold parts x_X and in the end, it came out kinda big.
Wouldnt a full set of gold armour weigh hundreds of pounds and be too soft to protect? but enough of my nitpicking. i must say it is a brilliant peice. 5/5
the character also has two game of it's own, although never released outside of Japan and in a male form. One I spotted in a Japanese arcade and uses very old cabinet tech, looks like a nes game. The other is called "Xandra big adventure" (according to superplay, although spelt sa-n-do-ra in Japanese I'm going for "sandra". Not a very heroic name in English) and is for the Snes.
The character ran as a bit of a Namco (namcot in those days) mascot, and I bet he/she appears in quite a few games.
I don't care much for the character, but the gold looks...wow. The pose is also dynamic, but a bit out-of-perspective in places, like his left leg. Still an excellent piece. Favorited.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meets Norse mythology? In any case, sweet colours and shine! Love the action pose

Just realized I said exactly what Sedge said.. must've crept into my subconscious while I was typing.

Very, very good. You seriously could be a professional pixel artist for some game company, other wise your talent would be a waste. Very cool, and chea, the gold is very kick arse. I just want to know if you do any other characters of your own. I would really like to see what you could come up with. Good job, overall...
