Bunch of sprites for generic "hack and slash" in minimalism technique: 8*8 pixels, 4 colors. I was basically inspired by iLKke's post Microdungeon. And I hope all the sprites are recognizable and easy to understand. That's great exercise and everyone should try it! Because then you double sprite size to 16*16, you fill such a freedom (Wow! So spacious, so many space!)

What do you think?

Adorable mini style, very nice. I really like the skeletons, especially their head bobbing (imagining disco music alongside it IS actually funny)

Thanks for feedback, fellows! Glad you like it.

Mngwa: Right, animation is sorta stub. It's only 2 frames (and really looks disco-like!), but please don't mention it. The only purpose for this animation is to make a picture more live.

fil: Sure, why not? Anyway, the idea was generated by Ilija "iLKke" Melentijevic (and thanks for him!) As I told, that's really powerfull exercise and everyone should try it.

SImple is always good.  The more thousands of colors we get the more games seem to suck in my opinion.  They're GAMES, not movies.  Sure, some are good but I think the 2D platform has so much more to offer, especially memory being what it is today.  Just think how huge and DEEP 2D platforms could be!

Very well made, I really like all the icons, but animations seems odd to me, more like disco that arcade, especially that skeleton with his head moving up and down. But that's just detail, apart from that it's great.

I like it.  Very well defined and everything's pretty clear given the size limitations.
