Top Pixel Art - April 2012 (#10)
That looks amazing! I can't wait to see how it turns out!
I think its not organic enough =D I don't care about this piece anymore. =D! Working on something else.
Feels like there's a lot of noise, but the water is just wonderful.
I got impressed myself to be in the top with that piece =/ there are guys in my school that created the account - -' Its like, 3 people or so... There are some guys like Cobalt Hex, Rebecca that just fave all my pixel arts. You can send that to Jeremy to ignore their accounts or something, and please do it.
I know you really want to get in the monthly top, but please remember the top is made for the best pieces of the month, not for the ones who have the highest number of friends. This piece isn't bad, but I don't think it is good enough to rank this high in the current monthly top, even higher than Mrmo's piece. So I checked out the persons who faved this and I counted around 10 persons who are here obviously just to fav philipejugnet's work (they're not even pixel artists, they just created an account and faved).
I know there is no rule that forbid you to do this, but falsifying the monthly top isn't a good think to do in my opinion, and it isn't fair for the other pixel artists here. You have skills philippejugnet, and you are making progress very quicly, so don't get so obsessed with the rating and faving. Just pixel, and if your piece is good it will be high rated naturally.
About the piece itself, I think the waterfall is great and quite realistic, but the rocks are still a bit rough.
I can't actually speak it - but between spanish and italian, i can usually read it :P. You speak English much better than I can speak any other language, so that's a feather in your cap :P.
I forgot to say - i originally came to this piece because I liked it. Very nicely done!

graindolium is a unique case - his french makes no sense and he likes starting flame wars. when not being dicks, though, people are almost always free to speak as they please!

Pixeljoint does not require its users to speak any particular language in comments. There are many people here who speak spanish, portuguese, french, korean, japanese, polish, russian, bokmal, etc etc.
From what very little i understand of portuguese, he says "thanks for calling me to [pixeljoint], I will [vote for] you."

love the water.. water is the hardest texture to pixel I find
